Two Republican Senators Just Got Into A Hilarious Twitter Feud Over The Eclipse

Lindsey Graham and Ben Sasse publicly humiliated each other online today.

As the nation watched the first solar eclipse in 38 years, a small feud erupted on Twitter between two Republican Senators, Lindsey Graham (R-SC) and Ben Sasse (R-NE).

Graham posted a photo of himself leaning back in a lawn chair in anticipation of the eclipse.

Sasse immediately struck back with a warning, alluding to Graham’s less-than-tanned arms.

The South Carolina Senator then followed up with a facetious joke in response to Sasse’s dig.

And the Nebraska Senator gave a response as shady as today’s view.

While most of the nation is distracted by a President who has proven utterly incapable of condemning even white supremacists and neo-Nazis, this spat offers Trump a momentary reprieve. He is, of course, certain to reinvite the nation’s disdain as soon as he decides to tweet again.
