In the wake of two natural disasters that struck Mexico simultaneously – an 8.4 magnitude earthquake and the Category 4 Hurricane Katia – coupled with Trump’s notable failure to offer an condolences to the country, Mexico has rescinded their offer of aid to Texas.
“Given these circumstance, the Mexican government will channel all available logistical support to serve the families and communities affected in the national territory,” said Mexico’s foreign ministry in a statement.

After Hurricane Harvey struck Texas in what FEMA Director William “Brock” Long has called the “worst disaster in Texas history,” Mexico generously offered international aid to the people of Texas. This was, of course, not the first time that Mexico has stepped in and offered help to the United States in the aftermath of a natural disaster. After Hurricane Katrina struck New Orleans in 2005, Mexico sent 45 vehicles worth of troops with 170,000 meals and 184,000 tons of supplies into the United States.

Mexico’s offer of relief aid was especially striking given the fact that Trump used Hurricane Harvey to attack our neighbor to the South in an unprovoked Twitter rant.
With Mexico being one of the highest crime Nations in the world, we must have THE WALL. Mexico will pay for it through reimbursement/other.

We are in the NAFTA (worst trade deal ever made) renegotiation process with Mexico & Canada. Both being very difficult, may have to terminate?

It seems that Trump’s vile attitude – including not only his glaring ungratefulness but proclivity to bite the hand offering food – finally came back to haunt those most in need. The President is supposed to be protecting Americans, not getting their resources revoked because of his inability to curb his petulant, xenophobic commentary.
